The opportunity to purchase the Grand Home Furnishings Building ended our three year search for affordable real estate to store our auto inventory and related parts and equipment.
Our subsequent move of our entire businesss to downtown Waynesboro has proven to be one of the most positive endeavors of our 40 years in business. The outpouring of encouragement and support during the initial renovation process was overwhelming. Everyone made us feel very welcome and appreciated. Almost a year later we continue to experience a unique sense of community, quality of life, and a sense of pride and community history that reminds us daily that Waynesboro is a wonderful place to work and live.
While a large percentage of our customers are not local, we do use many local businesses for our support services. We have also enjoyed sharing our facility with local groups for meetings and functions, and look forward to discovering more ways in which we can connect and work with the business leaders in the community. Through our investment we hope to set a standard of quality - change attitudes - to give hope to downtown Waynesboro and in doing so make a difference.
The motto for the Porsche Club of America is "It's not about the cars, it's the people".........like minded people, sharing a common interest....whether cars or a vibrant downtown filled with "no-excuse" entrepreneurs who believe in downtown Waynesboro.
